Rules

1. All works entered for the awards must have been published or presented in calendar year 2007.

2. The deadline for submissions for MAMCA Awards 2007 is 18 January 2008.

3. You assent to being the author or copyright holder of the work in question, or to have agreement from the copyright holder to these rules.

4. You agree to grant MAMCA the right to publish in all media the material submitted, for promotional and other purposes in connection with the awards. This in no way grants a transfer of rights.

5. You understand that we do not accept responsibility for late or lost entries or the non-inclusion of works due to errors in the post. Please send nominations using proof of receipt, or confirm with us after the fact that we have your nomination in hand.

6. You agree that the judges will be selected solely at our discretion to best represent the public and evaluate the works in their area of expertise. Judging decisions are final and not subject to review or appeal.

7. We will make all efforts to contact winning participants but if we cannot do so in a reasonable time frame the award will be offered to the next work on the list.

For the purpose of these rules "we" means the MAMCA organisers, "you" the copyright holder or submitter of the work in question, and "work" is the article, programme, photograph, event or other item being nominated.

By nominating a work for MAMCA you accept that you have read and understood these rules.
