Media Awards

  • Clear and comprehensible coverage of the subject.
  • Evidence of fairness and accuracy in reporting, presentation of relevant context or background.
  • Sensitive, timely, professional handling of subject.
  • Clarity and correctness of grammar, spelling and language use.
  • Use of visual or audio elements (graphics, photography, interview segments) as appropriate.
  • Use of quotes, primary sources, factual evidence.
  • Statement of conclusions, recommendations, or other interpretative observations.
  • Impact of piece on the reader, audience or community.
